Casting Notice

Seeking Actors for Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse 2026

Gateway Playhouse, Bellport, accepting actor submissions for its interactive theatrical attraction: Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse. Actors must be comfortable with makeup, special effects, and interaction with the public. Actors will be in close proximity to patrons and fellow actors. Actors must be available for most Haunt and Preview nights with limited or no conflicts.

Rehearsal: September 23rd/24th Haunt Nights: September 25, 26, October 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, & November 1.

Hours are typically 4:30-10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday haunt days, last ticket sold at 10:00, and 4:30-11:30 pm Friday and Saturday haunt days, last ticket sold at 11:30pm. Some makeup call times may be earlier. Hourly paid positions are available.

ADULTS, age 18+: If interested, please email ASAP, a headshot, resume and/or interest letter to casting@thegateway.org. These are hourly paid positions and we offer limited housing on property.

PREVIOUS ADULT HAUNTERS NEED NOT RE-AUDITION AND WILL BE CONTACTED BY CASTING.

IF SELECTED TO AUDITION, CASTING WILL SEND YOU INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIDEO AUDITION.
